🚗🐾 Calling All Animal Lovers: Help Drive Pets to a Better Future! 🐶🐱💙

🚗 Become a Pets4Life Pet Transport Volunteer

Join Pets4Life Louisville in removing one of the biggest barriers to veterinary care—transportation. Only about 14% of pet families in our target zip code have access to a reliable vehicle, making it incredibly difficult for many families to get their pets to important appointments. A lack of transportation can mean missed spay/neuter surgeries, delayed vaccines, untreated illnesses, and pets going without the care they need.

We're building a team of compassionate volunteer drivers to help transport pets to and from:
🐾 Spay & neuter appointments at SNIP Clinic and other providers
💉 Vaccine and wellness clinics
🩺 Veterinary appointments and follow-up visits
🏥 Specialty care appointments when transportation is the only barrier to care

✅ Why Volunteer?
✔️ Help reduce pet overpopulation in underserved neighborhoods
✔️ Help pets receive preventive and lifesaving veterinary care
✔️ Support families who want to do the right thing but simply have no way to get there
✔️ Keep beloved pets healthy, safe, and with the families who love them
✔️ We coordinate the details—you provide the wheels and kindness

📍 Service Area
Pickups and drop-offs take place throughout our target neighborhoods and service areas. Exact locations and schedules are provided in advance.

⏳ Time Commitment
Transportation needs vary depending on the appointment type and may include:
• Morning transport for surgery appointments (typically 7:30–8:30 AM pickups)
• Afternoon return trips after procedures or appointments (typically 4:30–5:30 PM)
• Midday transportation for vaccine clinics or veterinary appointments
• Occasional specialty appointments scheduled throughout the week

📅 Flexible Scheduling
Volunteer as often—or as little—as you'd like. Whether you can help once a month or several times a week, every ride makes a difference.

🚘 Requirements
• Reliable vehicle
• Valid driver's license and insurance
• Ability to safely transport pets in crates or carriers (provided when needed)
• Compassion for both people and pets

📩 Help Drive Change—Literally
Your time behind the wheel could mean the difference between a pet receiving care or going without it.
One ride can prevent unwanted litters, keep a family together, or help a pet receive the medical care they desperately need.
Join our transport team and help keep pets healthy, cared for, and with the families who love them.
