Quest event volunteers
We'd like to invite you to join us at Quest: Tech and Gaming. This free community event offers opportunities to explore interactive technology and gaming experiences in a fun and interactive way. It is geared toward students in grades 6 through 8. More details are below.
We'd like to offer three interactive stations where participants will learn how to troubleshoot common problems.
** We ask that volunteers only sign up for demonstrations for which they can supply the necessary and appropriate tech, tools, and knowledge. ** Please email tbayrepaircafe.org with any questions.

Why a Phone Won’t Charge
Participants test a phone that appears “dead” and work through simple troubleshooting steps:

- Check for dirt/debris in the charging port
- Identify whether the issue is cable, power source, or device-related
Controller or Headset Not Working
Participants are given a gaming controller or headset setup with a built-in issue:
- Check battery level or power source
- Reconnect Bluetooth or wireless receiver
- Verify mute/volume settings or audio output selection
Identifying Faulty Cables or Connections
Participants test a set of visually similar cables (working; limited-function; faulty):
