EVENT DESCRIPTION: Drum roll, please! The North Coast Symphonic Band (NCSB) presents a program of songs, scores, and compositions that have won major accolades and awards. The band is conducted by Terry Dahlgren of Warrenton, Oregon.
The concert will spotlight music that pays tribute to award-winning composers, entertainers, films, and musicals. In awards show fashion, the excitement will build as selections will be revealed throughout the concert. “Expect an afternoon that will feature many of the greats, past and present!” said Dahlgren. Featured soloists include Laurie Swanson on oboe and Kathleen Strecker on alto saxophone. NCSB Board President Brian Bergman will be the concert’s emcee.
