2026 Summer Mission Trip
Who: All Bear Town Youth students, both middle and high school (grades 6-12).
What: We will be returning to the Hinton Rural Life Center in the mountains of North Carolina for our 2026 Summer Mission Trip. The Hinton Center's Summer Mission Outreach Program includes three days of our Safe & Healthy Home Repair ministry, worship and devotional times, poverty awareness activity, Appalachian Culture Night, delicious meals, and fun Staff-Camper Challenges with our amazing crew of college-aged summer staffers. Groups stay in our Lodge or retreat house accommodations (with beds, linens, and a bathroom for each room).
We are excited that our friends from Jarvis and St. James UMCs in Greenville will also be attending this mission week at Hinton Center!
