Halloween Parade and Block Party

Please join us for our yearly Halloween Parade and costume contest. The event will be held on Saturday, October 26th from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm with a rain date of Sunday, October 27th from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.  The parade will begin at Hillsman Street and Roswell Drive and finish in the main event area of Shelby Court. This is a yearly tradition that has taken place for many years with just a small amount of volunteers. In order to make this event successful, we need neighbors to sign up to bring items, participate and donate (whether it be with your time or money).


* Costume Contest - come dressed in your finest for a chance to win amazing prizes! Categories are broken down by age groups too include: Under 3, 3- 5 years, 6 - 8 years, 9 - 11 years, 12 and over, adults, group, and lets not forget a category for our furry friends! 
* Food and drinks available to all - again this year, Lazy Dog is helping to contribute by providing discounted pizza's!
* NEW THIS YEAR: Fall themed Baking Contest with a chance to win a nice prize:
     1. You will be required to sign up prior to event demonstrating your interest.
     2.  Bring your already baked and prepared Fall Themed Dessert to the event and drop off between 9:00 and 10:00 am- make sure to cut into bite size pieces for tasting - your neighbors will be the judges!
3.  Entry Fee is $5.00 and must be paid at the time of drop-off.
4. Bring a card with the name of the dessert and any allergens
    5. Contest open to all ages
*Raffle of local business gift cards - can be purchased the day of the event by cash or venmo.
* Pumpkin carving contest open to all ages - please bring your already carved pumpkin for the chance to win a prize!
* If you would like to drop off your non-perishable donated items ahead of the event, you can do so at 2615 Shelby Lane
* If you do not choose to participate in the parade, you can proceed directly to the Shelby Court cul de sac.
* Please consider donating your time!
