Heal the Land: Unity Prayer Pledge

Created by Jennifer Mess Contact

Welcome brothers and sisters,

We are so excited to partner with people all over the world in unity. It is a little-known fact that the Bible was altered between the Geneva Bible and the King James Bible. Within the past 200 years, many denominations and seminaries have brought in doctrine based on the addition or removal of books or interpretation of Verses.

Thankfully, the core truths are still here, thanks be to God Almighty.

We believe in God the Father, hallowed be His name

We believe in Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith.

We believe Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and no one comes to the Father except through Him. (John 14:6)

We believe and operate in the Holy Spirit, given to us once Jesus Christ was seated at the right hand of the Father

We believe the things Jesus taught and the template for prayer that He gave to us.

For this Unity Prayer Pledge, we are asking that you take 3 minutes at the same time each evening to pray, decree, and declare three things.

This is not for rote and ritual but so that we are all joining at the same time in unity.

Jesus said a house divided against itself cannot stand (Matthew 12:22-28)

He also said where two or more are gathered in His name, He is there. (Matthew 18:20)

The world wants us divided and bickering over every little difference in denominations. Can we agree on the above principles?

Can we agree that Jesus is the Word and His Word is truth?

If you agree and want to join us, we simply ask that you set an alarm on your phone/alarm clock, etc. for 9:30 PM EST each night

When that alarm goes off, get to your knees, get on your face, or however, you choose to dedicate these 3 minutes and decree and declare in Jesus' name the following 3 things (in bold):

1. We repent for the wickedness that we have partaken in whether knowingly or unknowingly. We recognize the systems of this world are corrupt, wicked and that the blood of Jesus speaks the better word.  We humbly ask for forgiveness and discernment in our lives and that of our families. We decree and declare your goodness, faithfulness and, according to your word, we thank you for hearing us and healing our land.

Scriptures and concordance references

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, among whom my Name is called upon, do humble themselves, and pray and seek my presence, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear in heaven and be merciful to their sin, and will heal their land:
15 Then mine eyes shall be open and mine ears attend unto the prayer made in this place.

Hebrews 12:22 But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, 23 to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, 24 to Jesus the mediator (See concordance below) of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

Mediator in concordance - μεσίτης mesítēs, mes-ee'-tace; G3316 from G3319; a go-between, i.e. (simply) an internunciator, or (by implication) a reconciler (intercessor):—mediator.

STRONGS G3316:
μεσίτης, μεσίτου, ὁ (μέσος), one who intervenes between two, either in order to make or restore peace and friendship, or to form g compact, or for ratifying a covenant: a medium of communication, arbitrator (Vulg. (and A. V.) mediator): ὁ μεσίτης (generic article cf. Winer's Grammar, § 18, 1 under the end), i. e. every mediator, whoever acts as mediator, ἑνός οὐκ ἐστι, does not belong to one party but to two or more, Galatians 3:20. Used of Moses, as one who brought the commands of God to the people of Israel and acted as mediator with God on behalf of the people, Galatians 3:19 (cf. Deuteronomy 5:5; hence, he is called μεσίτης καί διαλλακτής by Philo also, vit. Moys. iii. § 19). Christ is called the μεσίτης Θεοῦ καί ἀνθρώπων, since he interposed by his death and restored the harmony between God and man which human sin had broken, 1 Timothy 2:5; also μεσίτης διαθήκης, Hebrews 8:6; Hebrews 9:15; Hebrews 12:24. (Polybius 28, 15, 8; Diodorus 4, 54; Philo de somn. i. § 22; Josephus, Antiquities 16, 2, 2; Plutarch, de Isa. et Os. 46; once in the Sept., Job 9:33.) Cf. Fischer, De vitiis lexamples N. T., p. 351ff

2. We look to God’s word for direction and protection. His word tells us:

Matthew 18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye bind on earth, shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye loose on earth, shall be loosed in heaven.19 Again, verily I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree in earth upon anything, whatsoever they shall desire, it shall be given them of my Father which is in heaven.

Therefore, we come together in unity to bind the wicked systems in this world, we bind the wicked strongholds in high places and loose Godly men and women to be set in the places of God’s choosing. We bind the confusion and deception that has taken hold and loose wisdom and revelation over all God fearing men and women in the world. May the scales fall from our eyes and may we open our hearts and minds to the truth of God’s Holy Scriptures so we can receive the abundant blessings He has given us because of Christ Jesus.

3. We thank God for restoring our land. We ask for wisdom to understand the promises in God’s Word and take steps forward in obedience to the things God asks us to do. We decree and declare that the land and blessings of God that have been set apart for us and our families be restored in full. We take back the land/our inheritance that was given by God and we stand on the good news spoken of by Jesus Christ. We are to bless others with our blessing. How? We can clothe, feed, pray, fellowship, lay hands on the sick and watch them recover, and set the captives free, all done by the power of God for His glory, not ours. We stand in awe and unspeakable gratitude for what Jesus has done and we declare that we will find out the truth in the word by the word and not man. We trust you, God, and lean not on our understanding. We declare peace and prosperity in the land and ask you to show us how to walk in it, Father. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Luke 4:16 He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day, he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. He stood up to read, 17 and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written:
18 “The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
    because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free,
19     to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
20 Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him. 21 He began by saying to them, “Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”

Proverbs 3:5  Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own wisdom.6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy ways.7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: but fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

Psalm 37: 32 The wicked watched the righteous, and seeketh to slay him.33 But the Lord will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.34 Wait thou on the Lord, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee, that thou shalt inherit the land: when the wicked men shall perish, thou shalt see.

Pray these things in Jesus' name, believe we have them based on HIS PROMISES (God is not a liar), and watch what happens!!!!

We are so excited to see God work not only in our families and communities but throughout the entire world.

With Love,

Jenn, Laraine, & family
