ANNIE Hilton Head Island Youth Actor Audition

The Arts Center of Coastal Carolina is holding Youth Actor Auditions for Annie on Saturday, August 1 from 1:00PM - 2:00PM.  Production dates:  November 6 - First Rehearsal for Youth Cast, November 10 - First Rehearsal, December 2 - Preview, December 4 - Opening, January 3 - Closing. 

Director - Angie Schworer,  Music Director - Andy Hudson, Choreographer - Trent Soyster, General Manager - Richard Feldman.

We will teach all actors a dance combination and a vocal selection.  Please bring your headshot and resume. 

This audition is the characters below to sing and dance.

ANNIE (10-13/must appear to be age 11, Any Ethnicity) Energetic and optimistic orphan who never gives up hope that better days are ahead. Voice Range: Low A to High F

 

KATE – (7 years old, female, any ethnicity). Vocal Range C5-C4. An orphan, gritty, neglected, vulnerable, honest and lovable.

 

TESSIE – (11 years old, female, any ethnicity.) Vocal Range C5-A3. An orphan, gritty, neglected, vulnerable, honest and lovable. Tessie is a cry-baby.

 

PEPPER – (12 years old, female, any ethnicity.) Vocal Range Bb4-C4. An orphan, gritty, neglected, vulnerable, honest and lovable.. Pepper is a tough and strong leader at age 12.

 

JULY – (13 years old, female, any ethnicity.) Vocal Range D5-C4. An orphan, gritty, neglected, vulnerable, honest and lovable. July is the quietest.

 

DUFFY – (13 years old, female, any ethnicity.) Vocal Range D5-C4. An orphan, gritty, neglected, vulnerable, honest and lovable. Duffy is the oldest.
