All outdoor projects have a bad-weather backup project indoors. We will Serve United rain or shine!

Friday, April 17, 2026
  • 8:30 am – 11:45 am: First volunteer shift; report directly to your volunteer project site
  • Noon – 1 pm: Luncheon Celebration with Jucys for all volunteers at Salvation Army's Gymnasium (717 N Spring Ave, Tyler)
  • 1:15 pm – 4:30 pm: Second volunteer shift; report directly to your volunteer project site after lunch
Saturday, April 18, 2026
  • 8:30 am – 9:00 am: Chick-fil-A breakfast at your project site
  • 9:00 am – Noon: Volunteer shift at project site
  • Afternoon opportunity to complete any unfinished projects

  • Meals Fur Pets is a vital program that helps our clients who have pets keep them fed. Our pet food program is operated on strictly donated food and the large bags must be broken down into manageable sizes. We will fill gallon zip lock bags with approximately one pound of food, label the bag with a "c" or a "d" depending on the type of food. 2-12 volunteers. No tools needed. No client interaction.   • Nourishing Bodies, Serving Neighbors • We’re more than a food pantry—we’re a place where neighbors support neighbors, families receive essential groceries, and everyone leaves with a little extra hope.Set up tables, chairs, and welcome areas for guests • Sort and stock food, including produce, dairy, canned, and dry goods • Greet neighbors, assist with check-in, and help guide them through the process • Help take grocery orders and keep the pantry organized and running smoothly • Pack and load groceries into carts and assist with distribution outside • Restock shelves during service and help clean up afterward 1-5 volunteers.
