Redwood City Financial Planning Day 2025

The Financial Planning Association supports our community by providing complimentary, 30 minute, one-to-one financial planning advice sessions at the Redwood City Library Financial Planning Day. The event will be in-person and available to the public.

 

Please note that per the FPA of Silicon Valley guidelines, Financial Counseling Volunteers must be CFP(R) professionals and members of an FPA chapter (Logistics Volunteers do not have to be).

 

Logistics volunteers will help get attendees checked in and assigned to planners and ensure that meetings are on time to get all attendees a chance to meet with a planner. If time permits, logistics volunteers can sit in on the one-on-one meetings to listen and learn how an experienced planner gives advice. It is an excellent opportunity for logistics volunteers to see and experience how different planners may approach many different kinds of financial issues that arise.
