Please help us create a wonderful home for Letesha and 4 children...

After more than a year of uncertainty, sleeping on couches, living in a shelter, and doing everything she could to keep her family safe, Letesha has finally secured a small two-bedroom apartment for herself and her four children (ages 2, 5, 8, and 9). It’s small, with a little courtyard for a little fresh air, but more than anything, it’s theirs. A place they can call home.

Right now, though, that home is empty. Letesha and her children are sleeping on air mattresses. There’s no table to share meals around, no sofa to sit and unwind, no beds to rest their heads at night.

They’ve come so far, but they need your help to truly settle in.

Your support can provide them with the basics we so often take for granted: beds, a kitchen table, a couch, and other essentials that turn a space into a sanctuary. Every donation, no matter the size, brings comfort, dignity, and stability to Letesha’s family. We are collecting both purchased and gently used items.

Please help us give Letesha and her children the fresh start they deserve.

You can drop off purchased items or donations at Resurrection Church, Oakland on Sunday July 27th or Sunday August 3rd in the community room. Alternatively, you can ship items to this address by August 7th:
