Adult Literacy Classes at Sterling Middle School

Created by Sterling UMC Contact

Sterling UMC is excited to work with Sterling Middle School and Loudoun Literacy to help make adult literacy classes accessible to the community of Sterling Middle.

Many families in our community depend on interpreters or their children to navigate school and community interactions, making English language skills essential for accessing resources and opportunities. However, existing English classes are often expensive, limited in availability, or require prior proficiency in the student's native language.

This project aims to address these barriers by offering English classes to Sterling Middle School parents at little to no cost. We want to provide childcare, snacks, and classes at multiple levels—all on the same night—to ensure accessibility and support for every participant.

You can learn more about the project by clicking here!  We invite you to prayerfully consider how you can support this vital work. Ready to make a difference? Sign up today!
