We have several ways for you to get involved.

Task 1: Greeter

  • Arrive 15 minutes before the service starts (10:45 am sufficient). 
  • Stand by the program table and warmly welcome everyone who enters
  • Say something like: "Welcome! We are glad you're here. Here's a program. Feel free to sit wherever you like; the bathrooms are downstairs."
  • Goal is to create a welcoming atmosphere for reflection and enjoyment of the service

Task 2: Scripture Reader

  • Read the first reading, then sit while the musician chants the psalm, and then read the second reading before sitting down

Task 3: After-Service Refreshments

  • Bring cookies or snacks to share after church
  • Coffee will be brewed. You just set out a few things to nibble on.
