The Hartford Nationals conducted by Move United
Welcome to The Hartford Nationals!
Hi everyone!
We are looking for volunteers to help with events during The Hartford Nationals conducted by Move United in conjunction with the West Michigan Sports Commission and Mary Free Bed Wheelchair & Adaptive Sports. All events will take place in the month of July and all volunteers are required to read and acknowledge both a waiver and media release form from both Move United and the West Michigan Sports Commission. There will be a link located here (https://www.waiverfile.com/b/DisabledSportsUSAInc) and below with the Move United Waiver release located through an external link . The West Michigan Sports Commission one is below in writing and in PDF file below.
Before Signing Up, Please Know the Following:
- All VOLUNTEERS MUST BE 16 YEARS OR OLDER AND NO PRIOR VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE NEEDED!
- Volunteers will be provided a T-Shirt and snacks/beverages
- Confirmed Volunteers will receive reminders through email prior to the event with more details
- It is recommended that volunteers bring sunscreen, a water bottle, a hat, and closed toe-comfortable shoes as most sign-up spots will be taking place outside
- If you are signing up for a volunteer opportunity at the YMCA there will be a Background Check performed prior to the event
- All waivers must be filled out and completed to volunteer for this event
